She grew up in a well-to-do Hindu family, with her father, Rangarajan Sundarraj Iyengar, working as a government employee, and her mother, Nalini Rangarajan, being a homemaker1. Aishwarya completed her schooling at VVS Sardar Patel High School and later graduated from MES Degree College of Arts, Commerce, and Science in Bangalore.
