iPhone New Prices in India 2026: iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max, iPhone Duo and iPhone 17 Get Costlier

Apple has significantly increased iPhone prices in India following the launch of its latest iPhone 18 Pro series and its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo. The price revision affects both the newly launched premium models and several existing iPhones. The iPhone 18 Pro starts at ₹1,64,900, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at ₹1,79,900 for the 256GB variants.

iPhone 18 Pro Price in India

The iPhone 18 Pro 256GB is priced at ₹1,64,900 in India. The smartphone comes with Apple’s latest A20 Pro chip, upgraded camera technology, improved battery performance and new AI-focused features.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max 256GB is priced at ₹1,79,900, making it ₹15,000 more expensive than the standard Pro model. Both smartphones will be available in higher storage configurations, including 512GB, 1TB and 2TB. Apple has announced that pre-orders in India will begin on September 12, with sales starting September 18.

iPhone Duo Foldable Price in India

Apple has also entered the foldable smartphone market with the iPhone Duo. The company’s first foldable iPhone starts at ₹2,99,900 for the 256GB variant in India. The top-end 2TB version is priced at ₹4,49,900.

The premium pricing positions the iPhone Duo firmly in the luxury smartphone segment and makes it substantially more expensive than Apple’s conventional iPhone models.

iPhone 17 Price Increased to ₹99,900

Interestingly, Apple has also increased the price of its existing iPhone 17 instead of reducing it after the arrival of the new generation.

The iPhone 17 256GB now costs ₹99,900, compared with its earlier launch price of ₹82,900. This represents an increase of ₹17,000, or approximately 20.5%. The 512GB variant is now priced at ₹1,24,900.

Apple iPhone Price Hike in India

The latest revision represents roughly a 20% increase for several key iPhone models, although the hike varies significantly across the lineup. The iPhone 18 Pro is around 22% more expensive than its predecessor, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max has increased by around 20%. Some other models, including the iPhone Air, have seen even sharper increases.

Apple’s pricing changes come amid higher memory and storage component costs, along with India’s taxes and import-related costs. The increases could make Apple’s latest smartphones significantly more expensive for Indian consumers.
