The Paradise is a Telugu period action drama directed by Srikanth Odela and headlined by Nani. Set in the 1980s against the backdrop of Secunderabad, the film follows Jadal, a man from a marginalized community who rises against an oppressive and powerful local figure. Nani plays Jadal, while Mohan Babu portrays Shikanja Malik, a feared and influential character whose authority becomes central to the conflict. The story explores power, discrimination, identity, social inequality, survival and the struggle for dignity. Kayadu Lohar plays Subbalakshmi, while Sonali Kulkarni, Raghav Juyal, Sampoornesh Babu and Easwari Rao appear in important supporting roles. The film marks the second collaboration between Nani and director Srikanth Odela after Dasara. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas, The Paradise has been mounted on a large scale with elaborate sets, action sequences and period production design. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music, while CH Sai handled cinematography and Naveen Nooli edited the film. The movie was released worldwide on September 24, 2026, in multiple languages. Despite receiving mixed audience reactions, it recorded a strong commercial opening and crossed ₹100 crore in India during its first week. Its worldwide gross subsequently crossed ₹160 crore, making it one of the notable Telugu theatrical performers of 2026.
