The makers of Ramayana have unveiled a new poster featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Sita on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The poster offers audiences a more intimate glimpse of the central characters and has generated considerable excitement among fans ahead of the film’s theatrical release.

The new artwork highlights the emotional bond between Rama and Sita, with Ranbir and Sai Pallavi recreating the timeless romance of the legendary couple. The poster was released as part of the film’s latest promotional campaign, marking an important step in the makers’ plans to introduce the musical world of the ambitious epic.

Ramayana First Song Jai Jai Ram

Alongside the new Siya Ram poster, the makers have launched the film’s first song, “Jai Jai Ram.” The track brings together celebrated musicians and singers, with music by AR Rahman and vocals by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal. The song adds a devotional and emotional dimension to the film’s promotional campaign.

The musical launch has further increased anticipation around the film, particularly because Ramayana is being positioned as a large-scale cinematic interpretation of one of India’s most revered epics.

Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Rama and Sita

Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama, while Sai Pallavi portrays Sita in director Nitesh Tiwari’s two-part adaptation. The cast also includes Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshmana.

Ramayana Release Date

Ramayana: Part 1 is scheduled to arrive in cinemas during the Diwali 2026 window, while the second part is planned for Diwali 2027. The official production website lists the first part for November 6, 2026, with the second instalment scheduled for October 28, 2027.

With the new poster and “Jai Jai Ram” song, the makers are now moving deeper into the film’s promotional campaign. Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi’s portrayal of Rama and Sita is expected to remain one of the biggest talking points as the film approaches its theatrical release
