The recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, has left the nation in shock and mourning. The tragic incident, which claimed the lives of 28 innocent civilians, including tourists, has sparked widespread condemnation. Among the voices of outrage is AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, who has strongly denounced the attack and called for justice.
Speaking to the media, Owaisi expressed his deep sorrow and anger over the incident. He described the attack as a "massacre" and emphasized the need for accountability. "The terrorists, what they did—asking people their names and then killing them—is completely wrong. There must be accountability," he stated. Owaisi also pointed out that the attackers were backed by Pakistan's ISI and establishment, raising concerns about cross-border terrorism.
In his remarks, Owaisi urged the government to take decisive action against the perpetrators and their supporters. He highlighted the importance of fixing security lapses, questioning how the terrorists managed to cross the border and reach Pahalgam. "If they could reach Pahalgam, they could reach Srinagar too. Justice would only prevail when accountability is fixed," he added.
Owaisi also appealed to the public to stand united against terrorism, urging Muslims to wear black armbands during Friday prayers as a mark of protest. He emphasized that terrorism has no religion and condemned the act of targeting individuals based on their faith. "The people who are killed the most in Kashmir are Kashmiri Muslims. They are terrorists, dogs who follow the ideology of ISIS," he said.
The AIMIM chief's strong condemnation of the attack has resonated with many, earning praise for his firm stance against terrorism. His call for justice and accountability reflects the collective demand for peace and security in the region.
The Pahalgam terror attack serves as a grim reminder of the ongoing challenges in combating terrorism and ensuring the safety of civilians. As the nation mourns the loss of innocent lives, leaders like Owaisi continue to advocate for decisive action to prevent such tragedies in the future.
