Know All About Mumbai BMW Hit-and-Run Involving Mihir Shah Case

Mihir Shah, the main accused in the Mumbai hit-and-run case, has reportedly confessed to being behind the wheel of the BMW that struck a scooter, resulting in the death of a woman¹. The incident occurred in Worli, south-central Mumbai.

On that fateful day, Mihir allegedly rammed his speeding BMW into a scooter, dragging the woman for around 2 kilometers. The victim, Kaveri Nakhwa, lost her life, while her husband, Pradeep, survived with injuries.

Mihir, aged 24, evaded the police for three days after the accident. He was finally arrested in Virar, near Mumbai. Fearful of facing repercussions, he fled the scene before his father could reach Bandra. Instead of returning home, he sought refuge at his girlfriend’s residence in Goregaon.

Police sources revealed that Mihir’s evening began at a Juhu bar. However, his night took a fateful turn as he allegedly drove from Juhu to Borivali, then proceeded to Marine Drive before heading towards Worli. Near Haji Ali, Mihir reportedly switched seats with his driver and admitted to driving the luxury car when it rammed the two-wheeler.

The police have registered a case of culpable homicide against Mihir. He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, where authorities will seek his remand for further investigation.

This tragic hit-and-run incident has led to Mihir Shah's arrest and legal proceedings as he faces the consequences of his actions.
