People who cannot travel to Mysuru can still follow many of the Dasara celebrations online. The official Mysuru Dasara website has a live-stream page bringing together cameras and broadcasts from the palace forecourt, cultural stages, illumination areas and the procession route. It is the best starting point for viewers looking for reliable coverage during the 2026 festival.
Where to watch Mysore Dasara 2026 live
The official live-stream information lists Doordarshan Chandana for the main procession-day telecast, with Kannada commentary. The Department of Information and Public Relations, Mysuru, also mirrors cameras and publishes event coverage through its official YouTube channel. Official Facebook and Instagram accounts share live video, stories and highlights from the palace and festival venues.
For the most dependable access, open the live-stream page on the official Mysuru Dasara website and follow the channel links shown there. This helps reduce the risk of clicking fake pages or unofficial streams that may ask for unnecessary personal details or payment.
Jamboo Savari live streaming date and time
The grand procession is scheduled for October 21, 2026. The official live page says procession-day coverage begins at 1 PM and continues through the procession and Torchlight Parade. The exact feed and camera availability can change as the programme unfolds, so check the official page on the day of the event.
The Palace illumination and cultural events are also featured in the official online coverage during the festival. The palace is scheduled to light up from 7 PM to 10 PM on festival evenings, with extended illumination on Vijayadashami according to the published programme.
How to watch on mobile, laptop or television
On a phone, open the official Dasara website in a browser and select the live-stream section. You generally do not need a separate app to access the web player. On a laptop, use a stable internet connection and keep the browser tab open. To watch on a television, you may be able to cast the browser or YouTube feed to a compatible smart TV, depending on your device and network.
If a video does not load, refresh the official page, check your connection or select another available camera. During popular events, high traffic may cause buffering. Lowering video quality can help on slower connections.
Beware of fake links
Do not enter bank details or pay an unknown page simply to watch a public live stream. Use the links published by the festival organisers or established broadcasters. Be careful with social posts that promise exclusive coverage but redirect through unfamiliar websites.
Stay updated
The programme can change due to weather, crowd management or official decisions. Check the official Mysuru Dasara portal for revised timings and announcements. For festival assistance, the published helpline is 1077. Watching online is a convenient way to experience the procession, palace lighting and cultural performances even if you are far from Mysuru.
