The Karnataka State Police (KSP) has announced the revised schedule for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET) for candidates shortlisted in the 2026 Civil Police Constable recruitment. The physical tests are being conducted after the written examination for candidates shortlisted in the prescribed ratio.
The recruitment drive covers 3,991 Civil Police Constable vacancies, comprising 3,395 posts under the Residual Parent Cadre (RPC/Non-HK) and 596 posts under the Kalyana Karnataka (HK) cadre. The official KSP recruitment portal has published the provisional PST/PET lists for both categories.
RPC Civil PC PST/PET Dates
For the 3,395 RPC/Non-HK Civil Police Constable posts, the revised physical test schedule will begin on September 28, 2026, and continue through October 6, 2026, with dates varying according to the candidate’s unit and range.
In Bengaluru City, the physical tests are scheduled from September 28 to October 5, 2026. Candidates will be assigned to designated grounds, including the City Armed Reserve grounds at Mysore Road, Adugodi and Thanisandra.
Other ranges, including Central, Southern, Eastern, Western, Northern and Ballari ranges, have separate dates and designated physical test centres.
HK Civil PC PST/PET Schedule
For the 596 Kalyana Karnataka (HK/371J) vacancies, physical tests are scheduled from October 8 to October 15, 2026.
Bengaluru City candidates under the HK category are scheduled for the physical test on October 8, while candidates from Ballari and other eligible districts will appear according to the unit-wise schedule.
