Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the new Honda QC3 electric scooter in India, expanding its growing electric two-wheeler portfolio. Positioned as a smart, family-focused electric scooter, the QC3 is aimed at urban commuters looking for a combination of range, practicality, storage and connected technology.
The Honda QC3 price is ₹1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The scooter is initially being introduced in Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat and Kollam through select Honda RedWing dealerships. Bookings have opened for ₹5,000 through Honda’s website and authorised dealerships.
Honda QC3 Battery and Range
The Honda QC3 gets a 3.0 kWh battery pack and offers a claimed 145 km IDC range on a full charge. Honda says the battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes, while a complete charge takes around four hours.
The larger battery and claimed range are designed to make the QC3 suitable for regular city commuting and family use. Honda has positioned the scooter around everyday practicality rather than performance-focused riding.
Honda QC3 Features
One of the key highlights of the QC3 is its technology package. The scooter comes with a 5-inch TFT instrument display featuring Honda RoadSync connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. It also gets a Smart Key, adding convenience for daily users.
For storage, the QC3 offers 32 litres of under-seat space, giving riders enough room for everyday items and making it more practical for family-oriented usage.
The scooter is available in four colour options: Matt Photon Gray Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Pearl Shallow Blue and Pearl Siren Blue.
Honda QC3 Rivals
The Honda QC3 enters a competitive electric scooter market and will face established models such as the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta and Vida VX2. Its ₹1.35 lakh ex-showroom price places it directly in the mainstream family electric scooter segment.
Honda is also expected to expand the QC3’s availability to more locations through a phased rollout. For now, customers outside the initial five cities will need to wait for further availability announcements.
With its 3 kWh battery, claimed 145 km range, 32-litre storage and connected features, the Honda QC3 is Honda’s latest attempt to strengthen its presence in India’s rapidly developing electric scooter market.
