About The Movie “Bhimaa”,
The latest fantasy cop action drama, features Tollywood’s Macho Man Gopichand in a dual role. Directed by Kannada filmmaker A Harsha, the movie revolves around strange and mysterious incidents occurring at a historical temple in a small town. As the plot unfolds, a stern cop named Bhimaa (played by Gopichand) steps in to crack down on these inexplicable occurrences. Meanwhile, his twin sister, Ramaa, a Brahmin priest, meets a tragic end along with her girlfriend. When Bhimaa discovers the truth about his twin, he is filled with remorse and sets out on a journey of redemption.
Released worldwide on March 8, “Bhimaa” received mixed reviews, but it provided Gopichand with a much-needed comeback after a series of flops. The film’s narration, though somewhat run-of-the-mill, manages to engage the audience. Priya Bhavani Shankar and Malvika Sharma play pivotal roles alongside Gopichand. Notably, this movie marks Gopichand’s second dual action drama, following his earlier film, "Goutham Nanda"1.

The digital streaming rights for “Bhimaa” were secured by Disney Plus Hotstar for a decent price. As the theatrical run of the film concludes, fans eagerly await its grand OTT debut. While the official announcement is still pending, sources suggest that the movie might likely hit the streaming platform on April 25.

The cast also includes Vennela Kishore, Raghu Babu, Nassar, Naresh, Mukesh Tiwari, Chammak Chandra, Poorna, Rohini, and Sarayu, among others. The film’s background score and music were composed by Ravi Basrur, known for his work in “KGF Chapter 1,” “Chapter 2,” and “Salaar”. Swamy J. Gowda and Tammiraju handled the cinematography and editing, respectively.
