Odia Rapper Abhinav Singh Found Dead in Bengaluru

Odia rapper Abhinav Singh, better known as Juggernaut, was tragically found dead in his apartment in Bengaluru's Kadubeesanahalli on February 12, 2025. The 32-year-old artist's death is being investigated as a suspected suicide, with family members attributing the cause to personal conflicts with his wife. The police are conducting a thorough investigation, and Singh's body has been sent to Odisha for the final rites.

Singh, who was an engineer by profession, had made a significant mark in the Odia rap scene. He gained widespread recognition with his hit song "Cuttack Anthem", which showcased his lyrical talent and deep connection to his roots. Known for addressing social issues and celebrating Odia identity through his music, Singh collaborated with local artists such as MC Tor (Tanmay Sahoo) to promote the hip-hop movement in Odisha.

However, Singh's career was not without controversy. In August 2024, he faced serious allegations from Ollywood actress Supriya, who accused him of preventing her from releasing a music video and allegedly assaulting her. This incident attracted considerable media attention and legal scrutiny. Additionally, Singh was involved in another incident at an OYO hotel in Bhubaneswar following a complaint from his wife.

As the investigation continues, the exact cause of Singh's death remains uncertain. The police are working to uncover the events leading up to this tragedy and to understand the motivations behind his actions. Singh's family has filed a formal complaint, naming several individuals and calling for a detailed investigation.
