Baby John Box Office Collection 1st Day Report

Varun Dhawan's highly anticipated film, "Baby John," opened in theaters on Christmas Day, drawing considerable attention from fans and critics alike. According to Sacnilk, the movie earned an estimated ₹12.50 crore on its first day. This figure, while impressive, fell short of the initial expectations for a holiday release.

"Baby John," a remake of the Tamil film "Theri," features a stellar cast including Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff. Despite receiving praise for Varun Dhawan's performance, the film's plot has faced some criticism, which may have contributed to the slightly lower-than-expected box office numbers. The film also faced stiff competition from other major releases, such as "Pushpa 2."

Trade analysts had projected a first-day collection between ₹13-15 crore, but the final numbers were a bit lower. The movie had a Hindi occupancy of 24.53% on its first day, with Chennai reporting the highest occupancy at 52.33%.

While the first day collection did not reach the anticipated heights, the extended holiday weekend offers a hopeful prospect for increased box office performance in the coming days.
