CBSE Board Exams 2027: Registration, LOC Submission to Begin Soon at cbse.gov.in

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a prior intimation regarding the upcoming CBSE Board Examinations 2027 and informed affiliated schools that the registration and List of Candidates (LOC) submission processes will begin shortly. The notice, dated September 10, 2026, applies to the 2026-27 academic session.

CBSE Registration and LOC 2027

According to the official notice, the registration process for Classes 9 and 11 and the List of Candidates (LOC) submission for Classes 10 and 12 will start shortly. Schools have been asked to make the necessary preparations so that student information and subjects are submitted accurately.

The LOC is particularly important for students appearing in the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. Schools are responsible for submitting the required information through the CBSE examination system.

Details Schools Need to Prepare

CBSE has directed affiliated schools to keep accurate and updated student information ready. This includes the student’s full name as recorded in the admission register, date of birth, gender, category and parent or guardian details.

Schools must also ensure that students are registered for the correct subjects according to their approved scheme of studies. Photographs and signatures of candidates must be prepared in the format specified by the Board.

CBSE has stressed that schools should carefully verify all information before final submission because errors can create complications later during the examination process.

CBSE Highlights Common Errors

The Board has also pointed out several problems encountered during previous examination cycles. These include incorrect subject codes or subjects, errors in student or parent details, failure to submit the LOC and failure to submit the LOC within the prescribed timeline.

CBSE has therefore urged schools to complete their preparations in advance and ensure that all student details are accurate before submitting the LOC.

Where to Check the Official Notice?

Students and parents should note that the latest communication is primarily directed at CBSE-affiliated schools. Schools should monitor the official CBSE website and the Pariksha Sangam portal for the detailed schedule and further instructions once the registration and LOC submission windows open. The CBSE website currently lists the September 10 notice under its latest updates and examination circulars.

Students should also verify their personal information and subjects with their respective schools to avoid discrepancies in examination records
