ISRO IPRC Recruitment 2026: SSLC, ITI and Diploma qualification holders have an opportunity to apply for jobs at the ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC), Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu. IPRC has released Advertisement No. IPRC/RMT/2026/01 dated September 12, 2026, inviting online applications for 22 vacancies across Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’, Cook ‘A’ and Fireman ‘A’ posts.
22 Vacancies Across Multiple Posts
The recruitment includes 5 Technical Assistant posts, 13 Technician ‘B’ posts, one Cook ‘A’ post and three Fireman ‘A’ posts.
Technical Assistant vacancies are available in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Communication. The Technician ‘B’ vacancies cover Turner, Fitter, Welder, Machinist, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and Electrician trades.
SSLC, ITI and Diploma Eligibility
Candidates with a First Class Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline can apply for Technical Assistant positions. The prescribed disciplines include Automobile, Mechanical/Production, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication and Electronics & Instrumentation.
For Technician ‘B’ posts, candidates must have passed SSLC/SSC/Matriculation/10th standard and possess the relevant ITI trade qualification with NTC from NCVT or NAC from NCVT. Trades include Turner, Fitter, Welder, Machinist, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and Electrician.
For Cook ‘A’, candidates need 10th-standard qualification along with five years of experience as a cook in a well-established hotel or canteen. Fireman ‘A’ candidates need 10th-standard qualification, must meet the prescribed physical fitness standards and submit a preliminary medical examination certificate.
Age Limit and Salary
For Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’ and Cook ‘A’, the age limit is 18 to 35 years as on October 5, 2026. For Fireman ‘A’, the age limit is 18 to 25 years. Applicable age relaxation is provided according to Government of India rules.
Technical Assistant posts carry Pay Level 7, ₹44,900–₹1,42,400, while Technician ‘B’ posts carry Pay Level 3, ₹21,700–₹69,100. Cook ‘A’ is under Pay Level 2, ₹19,900–₹63,200.
Selection Process
For Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’ and Cook ‘A’, selection involves a written test followed by a skill test. Fireman ‘A’ selection includes a written test, physical efficiency/skill test and detailed medical examination. The written examination for most technical posts will be conducted through OMR mode in Tirunelveli and Chennai.
