Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff escaped without gunshot injuries after unidentified attackers reportedly opened fire at the vehicle carrying him in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday, October 18, 2026. The incident has prompted a police investigation.
What happened in Juhu?
According to media reports, the firing took place near Pushpa Narsee Park in Juhu when Shroff was returning after playing football. Three motorcycle-borne assailants were reported to have opened fire before fleeing the area.
Tiger Shroff was reported safe. His driver and another person, identified in reports as an auto-rickshaw driver, sustained injuries and were taken for medical treatment.
Mumbai Police investigate
Police teams are examining CCTV footage, gathering forensic evidence and speaking to witnesses to reconstruct the incident and identify the suspects. The recovery and examination of evidence may help investigators establish the attackers’ movements and possible motive.
Alleged responsibility claim remains under investigation
A message circulating online reportedly claimed responsibility for the firing and alleged links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The authenticity and significance of such claims must be assessed by investigators; a social media message alone does not establish responsibility.
