KSET Qualification and Selection
Simply securing the minimum marks does not automatically make every candidate eligible for Assistant Professor appointment. KEA follows the prescribed qualification methodology, including the requirement that a specified proportion of candidates appearing in both papers are declared qualified. The official notification states that 6% of candidates appearing in both papers are to be declared eligible for Assistant Professorship, subject to applicable reservation rules and the prescribed merit process. Candidates who qualify KSET can subsequently apply for Assistant Professor positions according to recruitment rules notified by individual institutions
